If you can’t find any educational materials you'd like to use in AU Library, submit a purchase request and we will look into acquiring it. We can purchase both physical and electronic format of materials.
The Library welcomes suggestions from all members of our AU community for the acquisition of materials which support the AU mission.
Before submitting a request, please check the online catalog to determine whether the material you want is already owned by the Library or on order.
All purchase suggestions will be reviewed by the librarian and you will receive notification of their decision.

The Collection development policies here are intended to document the scope and extent of current collection building and to create a basis for ongoing conversations between librarians, faculty, and students regarding the selection and retention of library materials. They articulate a set of collecting priorities which must remain dynamic to ensure that the Library continues to meet the current and future needs of this scholarly community within the constraints of its materials budget. We hope that they foster two-way communication about the collections: contact information appears at the beginning of each policy, and we always welcome suggestions from our readers.
