What is EndNote?
EndNote is a citation/research management software that helps you collect, organize, and share citations from library databases and catalogs. EndNote also helps you format your papers, creating bibliographies and footnotes in a wide variety citation styles (Chicago, MLA, APA, Turabian, etc.)
This guide provides information to help you get started using EndNote citation management software for your research.
How to Installing EndNote X8
1. Choose EndNote from the list of available programs. Click on the OS Icon for download.
2. Follow the instructions to install EndNote and fill in the Product key on your computer.
3. When the program is installed, you should check for the latest updates. (The latest update should be at least X8.1 for a PC.) Go to the Help menu in EndNote and click on Check for Updates.
